Max Mara and Selective Beauty Sign Agreement

Selective Beauty and Max Mara have signed a worldwide licensing agreement for the creation, development and distribution of fragrances under the Max Mara brand. The contract will run through December 2016.  Prior to this license, the Max Mara fragrance business was managed by a joint venture with Procter & Gamble.

Under the agreement, French cosmetics company Selective Beauty will develop a new product line to be launched in 2007. Distribution is slated for department stores and specialist perfumeries. More information: www.selective- beauty.com
New Closure Company Unveiled

Global Closure Systems, with 29 production sites worldwide, has launched. Comprised of Astra Plastique, Bender, Massmould, Obrist, UCP and Zeller, the closure company offers a range of plastic and metal dispensing systems. The company is serving markets in more than 100 countries.
